When I Stutter--doc at KIFF Film Fest--reveals humor, humanity, joy and little known facts. Meet Filmmaker John Gomez, 7:25pm Glenwood Arts, 95th & Mission/Ranchmart

Waiting for a phone call from former stutterer Bruce Willis.  Wants to enroll Willis in distributing this award-winning film about something that used to challenge Bruce: Stuttering.  Filmmaker (and non-stutterer)  John Gomez shines a light of hope on stuttering. One time  screening at KIFF, Sunday Nov. 5 at 7:25pm, co-sponsored by The Whole Person.
If you can reach Willis, tell him to call John Gomez NOW, 310/592-4646!

Forget KCI--international travel is super convenient when you see 190 films without leaving town...your final destination is in Joco: KIFF 2017!

The Kansas International Film Festival celebrates its 17th year with many films, a filmmaker panel, and international filmmakers in town for a great weekend of movies.  Come join the fun and stop by the Glenwood Arts/Ranchmart lower level SE corner of 95th & Mission.  Dine at the KIFF cafe to quench your thirst for culture from around the world.
One of the hottest tickets is to see When I Stutter, by new Hollywood filmmaker John Gomez.  this is no Debbie Downer documentary.  Instead think of them as "survivors".  You will learn strategies that many used.  And why singing can help.  And workarounds.  Did you know that stutter anxiety often attaches to pronouncing one's own name, and then branches out to any other words that start with that same letter?  Did know know that Bruce Willis used to be a stutterer?  (I'll give $77 to the first person who can get Bruce Willis to watch this film...since it is seeking national distribution.  Let's put our six degrees of separation to the test.  Email jocopost@gmail.com
